rhonpat Posted June 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Princess has made EZ Air arrangements for us for our upcoming cruise. We are due to arrive at LAX at 11:30 the day of the cruise. We also purchased their transfers. Is this plenty of time to get to the Cruiseport for a 4:00 departure?
SadieN Posted June 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Yes, If the plane is on time, allowing an hour for baggage, an hour for travel, the bus leaving right away you should get to port around 1:30. Of course, luggage and freeway time are estimated long and the bus and having a clear freeway are wishful thinking. IsanTom Posted June 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Yes, no problem! If your plane is late, the ship is responsible to wait on you!

Putterdude Posted June 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 22, 2016 As long as the flight is on time you could probably walk from LAX to the port and still make the cruise.
Cruisin' Chick Posted June 22, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2016 If the flight and traffic gods are with you... We've decided years ago to never fly in the day of a cruise. Too many things could go wrong.
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 22, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2016 You do need to be on board 90 minutes prior to the cruise. I know this is not your question but if you would have asked before you booked the flight I would have highly recommended you arrive the day before. Things can go wrong from cancelled or delayed flights that can cause you to miss the ship and these things do happen. If all goes well you will be to the port by 1:00 or 1:30 depending on when the transport leaves. But none of us can guarantee issues related to the flights. If there is away to fly in the day before that is what I would do though. Keith

DKNYC Posted July 9, 2016 #12 Share Posted July 9, 2016 (edited) Your cruise personalizer should have that info somewhere, probably under excursions. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app I checked the personalizer and the website today. It said I could order transfers from my travel agent but gave no prices. Found out on another thread here on this forum that the LAX- Port transfers are $34 each way. Don't know if I need one yet as still in planning stages. Pierlesscruisers Posted July 13, 2016 #13 Share Posted July 13, 2016 Yes, no problem! If your plane is late, the ship is responsible to wait on you! Within limits, yes, but that is not always the case. They may have to get you to the next port if they can't wait, though. Tom
