Rare John&LaLa Posted June 26, 2016 #26 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Borrowing this suggestion from some-one else.Cabin mate and I board separately with 2 bottles each. 2 bottles each in the luggage, which will go to naughty room.:D Collect luggage separately. We have never taken drinks from the CL or DL to MDR. We buy the wine we like, and have our C&A entitlement. Yes, I like the white Zin.:) And the legal 2 bottles we bought aboard.:D I do not condone this suggestion, and have never done it, so no flaming please. I'll bet you're fun on a 3 day Bahamas. :D
KatnBob Posted June 27, 2016 #27 Share Posted June 27, 2016 What happens if you and your partner go through security at different times and each has a carryon with two bottles of wine?

retiredgram Posted June 27, 2016 #30 Share Posted June 27, 2016 You board with double your allotment Not true for us. Tried that at Baltimore and security caught it. They took 2 of the bottles. Not mad, as we know what the rules are.
Rare BillOh Posted June 27, 2016 #31 Share Posted June 27, 2016 I believe the check-in table is just to inspect the wine bottles to be sure they haven't been opened. That's all I've seen them do anyway.Judy Jack Daniels is wine isn't it?
Heather1972 Posted June 27, 2016 #32 Share Posted June 27, 2016 No one questioned our bottles of wine when we boarded Anthem.

temple1 Posted June 27, 2016 #34 Share Posted June 27, 2016 Good to know about the White Zin, I don't usually drink it. I do know the red house wine will peel paint! We were stopped at the wine table on our Princess cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale last year. First time for that.
KatnBob Posted June 28, 2016 #35 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Hey, good to see you are still lurking in the forums. Have not seen any of your posts since you got rid of that fractured diamond and completed the journey to the "promised Land"

No way could we board the ship. Cruise line folks were nice about it....told us where to go to re-claim our luggage. Went to the directed location at 11:30 AM. It was a great location. At 4:30 PM, we had a great view of Freedom of the Seas sailing away with our bags. We agree...never again.
