Angus0121 Posted June 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Passengers on the 5/30/16 Quest sailing (12 nights Nice to Southampton) were advised that a future cruise credit value = 2 nights would be provided due to the ship's inability to sail to and dock in Seville due to a propeller issue. We were not advised that any restrictions may apply. We received our FCC voucher yesterday which is noted that: 1) The sailing must be taken by 6/30/17 2) Is not redeemable for inaugural or holiday sailings We booked an 11 night early January 2018 cruise while on board thinking we would use the FFC. Our TA is checking with Azamara on this. We are wondering if other passengers also booked a post 6/30/17 Azamara sailing while on board thinking they would use the FFC. florisdekort Posted June 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Those are pretty standard terms and conditions for "free" (compensation) certificates. I've gotten them twice; same thing.
upwarduk Posted June 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Similar with Celebrity which is in the same cruise 'family.'
Angus0121 Posted June 28, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Thanks for the input on this policy being "standard practice". As such, it would have been nice to have been provided that information as "FYI" from on board booking agent.
