Does NCL not ask for credit card info to complete the online checkin? We have cruised on Carnival and RC and they ask about payment method when you check in online.

Huh I didn't think of that when I finished our online check-in, but no they didn't ask for a CC. I guess you set that up at the port.

They never ask for a cc for the online check in. You will have to give that information when you check in at the port.

No credit card required to check in.

 

You need a credit card to pay for any pre-ordered items (shore excursions, entertainment based dining (Cirque, Illusionarium, Supper Club), or fixed priced dining (teppanyaki, Monderno).

Yes, and no. I don't think it's required, but you a credit card on file with MyNCL to pay to pre-sailing bookings.

 

You will have to present some for of guarantee at the pier, either a credit card or cash. Not sure how much cash is required.
