One MDR and Le Bistro are the ONLY restaurants that require men to wear pants, just about any pants. Jeans are fine. ALL other restaurants you can wear shorts etc. Very casual.

Long pants are required in LeBistro and the more fancy of the MDRs, but no need for a jacket.

The question and the answers use pants, the real requirement is some form of longs. I wear pants but they are short. I certainly wouldn't try to go to a restaurant with no pants!!! :D
