Need to decide between OBC or excursions. Can I use OBC in casino? For gratuities?

You can't use promotional Onboard credit in the Casino, but it could be applied towards the daily gratuity charge-

You would not, for example, be permitted to withdraw cash at the front desk in order to place the "tip" into an envelope.

I think OBC is best used toward one of the beverage packages. Wait until after you board to purchase.

Not sure they even have an ATM onboard Oceania ships anymore

If the OBC is promotional in nature (such as Olife) then you would not be able to.

I believe if you purchase the transfer on the ship (a few days before when the disembarkation form comes to your cabin) it has the options you can choose from

 

The amount of the transfer will go on your Onboard account & therefore should be deducted from any OBC you have left

 

On the other hand why would you pay the extortionate amount for transfers usually a taxi is much cheaper go for a massage in the spa much better use of left over OBC ...;) JMO

 

 

In anycase I would ask on the ship if you need to pay via cash or credit card or if you can use the OBC
