Live from the Dawn

These are in the separate Relaxation Room area. One to the left and right of the thermal loungers. It's a very comfortable place to enjoy the quiet, slightly warmer than the rest of the spa so I enjoyed spending time in there after a swim.

There are accessible from the men's/ladies locker rooms but also the general spa area and may be used by anyone.

Sorry, but I have only been on the Dawn post dry dock (twice), so I don't know if there are more video poker games. Are these the ones at the bar or mounted on the wall?

 

Why would you play video poker instead of live poker? Better odds?

I like Black Jack, but I've never played live poker. Just not sure it would be for me. Video poker is something I can play for a long time and get a comped cruise & other casino comps from. I get bored with slots so I like to play VP where I have choices I can make and can play for a long time. As for odds, VP on cruise ships aren't great odds, but with slots you can't tell what the percentage pay out is like you can with VP. I have managed to have some winning trips, but that's not the norm;)

Sorry, but I'm not a beer drinker and I'm home now. I'm pretty sure if you search the NCL site you can find a list of all alcohol available on their ships.

Sailed the July 22nd cruise. They have every domestic beer - all served in 16oz aluminum cans. Not as cold as I would like but we just added a little ice to the glass!

We were on the Dawn in 2011 and never saw or heard of a self serve laundry room. I have been on the Dawn 5 more cruises since then and can assure you they do not exist anymore. Wish they did.
