cruisinsince75 Posted July 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2016 We are considering doing our first Oceania and about to book. Looking at B4 on deck 7 aft near elevators, but appears the lifeboats will hinder views? Is that correct? Also looks like B3 cabins on deck 7 aft have deeper balconies. Are these good or should they be avoided? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Rrehfe4969@aol.com Posted August 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2016 We were n room 7108 last year on riveria and have booked room 7108 for marina next year for 17 days out of London in June. Great room for a B3. Extended balcony is wonderful and you can ask pre boarding for two loungers to be added to the table and chairs. Plenty of room. Open to decks above as they are shorter and plenty of envious looks from above. Would highly recommend Lv having cocktails or wine on deck pre dinner and stargazing after dinner with a loved one Sent from my iPad using Forums

Hawaiidan Posted August 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Just booked 7114 for the same cruise. Will join you on the roll call soon. In my experience, the best value, space and experience/view is 7008... one of the largest verandas and maybe the best vista on the ship.... when you can put 2 loungers and 2 chairs and a table on the veranda and still have room thats huge....its also one of the best wind sheltered cabins and one of the few that comes all the way out to the hull edge.... ( all the others PH included stop 10-15 feet from the hull edge a big set back)

Rrehfe4969@aol.com Posted August 5, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2016 Do not think so however travel agent asked for them a few weeks out because they are limited numbers of loungers and she wanted to make sure we had them reserved. Also had friends next door so we asked the steward to remove a panel on divider so we could move about on both balconies. Took them less than 10 minutes to do and it was great. JimandStan Posted August 5, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 5, 2016 we asked the steward to remove a panel on divider so we could move about on both balconies. In case it ever comes up again in conversation, those panels are not removed. The moveable section is hinged, so the Steward unlocks it and folds it back against the stationary section. beatnix Posted August 5, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 5, 2016 WE are at the moment in 7009 and it is perfect! On the veradah there are two comfotable loungers, two chairs an a small table and there is even enough room between. I would book this stateroom again.
