Casino

It's been two years since my last cruise, but I spent quite a bit in the casino then. For upcoming September cruise, I emailed them to see if I had any perks coming or available. Within a couple of days they emailed me back saying sorry, nothing available, enjoy your cruise. :(

Then we decided to go ahead and book for next March. Within days of that booking, I got an email from the casino center letting me know I have $75 in casino credit to use on my next cruise. :p

I've never been offered a free cruise, though. How many points does it take? I usually hit the free-drinks mark by day two. :D Would be nice to get a free cruise now and then, since what I lose in the casino would pay for several.

The free cruise would be a bounce back offer that is handed out at the end of the cruise. There is no set amount of points.

Avid gamblers will tell you that there are "X" number of bounce backs (BB) allowed on each cruise. The person with the most number of points gets the first one and on down the line. Some will say that if you have a future cruise booked you will not get one other say it doesn't matter.

I can tell you that on a slot machine you earn one point for every $2.50 through the machine. To get a drinks on us card it is 1000 points on a 5 day cruise and 1500 on a 7 day or longer cruise. Points do not carry over from cruise to cruise. If you earn 5000 points you will have a DOU card waiting for you on your next cruise. To be eligible for an invitation to a premier cruise you need 7500 in one year.

Hope that helps

Yes, that helps a LOT, thank you very much. I'm just going to play like I normally do and let the chips fall where they may. (pun definitely intended lol)

one last question - 7,500 in one year -- calendar year? or 12-month period? Between the September cruise coming up and the March cruise next spring, I'm pretty sure I'll have that many points.
