Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted July 31, 2016 #28 Share Posted July 31, 2016 We really liked Cafe Bacio. It's on one of the upper levels of the atrium, unlike the International Cafes on Princess, and seemed to have a nicer ambience. On our cruise they were using Bistro of Five as overflow seating for the cafe but now that Bistro on Five is now Sushi on Five that may not be possible. Even ships we have been on before.

Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted July 31, 2016 #43 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Good advice but weather is an issue, Café Al Baccio may suit better. The Sky Lounge is awesome for sailaways, we tried to get up there when leaving most of the NZ ports. Some, like Tauranga and Dunedin, had very narrow channels and it was fascinating to see the ship manoeuvering through them from such a vantage point. Cafe Bacio has relatively limited window space, compared with the Sky Lounge, although part of the Sky Lounge was cordoned off for the Elite/Suite Happy Hour on our cruise. They don't do that on embarkation nights, so it shouldn't be an issue.
