Travelling with 3yo and 2yo this November. Spirit or legend

Hi guys!

Will be travelling with 2 young kids. 3.5yo and 2.5yo

Very hard to decide. so far we are leaning more towards the Legend!

Would you also recommend 2 or 1 rooms? Considering to get one interior and one room with the balcony... 3.5 year old would enjoy a morning walk to the other room to wake his brother up (regardless how far 2 cabins will be) :)

Any other tips will be super appreciated :)

Both are very similar, The Spirit had a refurb last year so has a few more features than The Legend, been on both twice either would be fine.

Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend are sister ships, identical. I was on Spirit back in 2005 Hawaii - Vancouver - Alaska. She was Americanised then, now she is Australianised. As for 2 cabins, no way, travel as a family unit, get a 4 berth cabin.

They have connecting cabins, we did that on spirit. LO in one room and us in another (booked as a solo adult and an adult and child) we had a monitor to see even though it was connecting. The extra space was great and being able to have lights, talk and flush the toilet were real highlights ;-)

Perhaps put the kids on one ship and cruise on the other.:p

 

I think your having the two rooms would be a good plan, near identical ships with the edge to the Spirit.

I sailed on both I prefer the spirit.

Not so dark decor wise.

Berritto bar.

Amazing BBQ outside where you can get marinated chicken pulled pork baked potatoes marinated grilled vegetables.

I really missed this on the legend :(

Better stage in theatre.
