thecruiserofships Posted August 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2016 I hope everyone had a great start to the week! In my recent spare time, I wrote a Royal Caribbean Trivia quiz that only covers basic company history and the cruise line's ships. Many may remember some of the previous trivia quizzes that I shared here in the past (it's been a while since I wrote one of these things) . This is just for fun and NOT a contest of any kind. Here is my Royal Caribbean Trivia Quiz: http://www.embarkandaway.com/royal-caribbean-trivia-quiz.html Please let me know if I made any mistakes or forgot something! Have fun and feel free to share your score (no matter how good or bad)! P.S. I am not a travel agent nor a teacher. I always seem to get asked if I am one of those two professions and I thought I would clarify now. No, I am neither! I just do a personal cruise blog for the fun of writing! :)
Rare whitshel Posted August 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) 81% here, missed 3. Where Voyager class were built, capacity of Harmony and what years Oasis 4 enters service. And I didn't use google at all :) Edited August 2, 2016 by whitshel

Rare whitshel Posted August 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) Ya, I really don't think those are correct, to be honest. It lists Oasis as ship capacity of 7144 and we know that's not right. Not that I'm contradicting your Harmony question, but I really dont think all those numbers are correct. http://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/fact-sheet/21/oasis-of-the-seas/ Edited August 2, 2016 by whitshel

KansasK Posted August 2, 2016 #10 Share Posted August 2, 2016 I scored a miserable 56%. :o It was fun to take the quiz, though. Some I debated on and guessed wrong - oh well! I still love to cruise!

Hoopster95 Posted August 3, 2016 #14 Share Posted August 3, 2016 This question got me too, didn't know this: http://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/fact-sheet/29/harmony-of-the-seas/ 5,479 guests double occupancy 6780 "total" So what does RCL mean by total? Every single pullman and sofa bed used I assume? And are there enough life boat berths for this "total"? Wow... conversely Oasis is approximately 500 "total" less than Harmony 5,400 passengers double occupancy 6,296 total 87.5% for me
attitudeda Posted August 3, 2016 #15 Share Posted August 3, 2016 88% here missed questions 7 and 13.
KiwiGal117 Posted August 3, 2016 #16 Share Posted August 3, 2016 69% - not bad give. That I can never keep the classes of ships and which ships belong to them, straight. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

TravelerThom Posted August 3, 2016 #22 Share Posted August 3, 2016 Ya, I really don't think those are correct, to be honest. It lists Oasis as ship capacity of 7144 and we know that's not right.http://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/fact-sheet/21/oasis-of-the-seas/ I'm also not buying Oasis Double Occupancy of 4074.But the source is Royal Caribbean, and we all know that while they can be very creative with numbers, they often are not accurate:rolleyes: Thom
thecruiserofships Posted August 3, 2016 Author #23 Share Posted August 3, 2016 (edited) I'm glad everyone has so far enjoyed it! Next time I edit the quiz I will probably throw out the Harmony total guest capacity question or change the question to ask about double occupancy. It seems like everywhere I go online the numbers are different. That is strange. Edited August 3, 2016 by thecruiserofships
cruisegoal100 Posted August 3, 2016 #24 Share Posted August 3, 2016 69% and also don't buy Harmony total number of passengers! That would be an increase of 400-500 over Oasis with only a few thousand gross tons added.
