Certainly not the end of the world but they are late to the party with this marketing concept.

 

Agreed. I have been annoyed by NCL's hull graphics for years. I had wondered if there is some particular appeal of the bow graphics to the Chinese market that Princess is trying to expand in, but then they said they plan to roll it out fleetwide.

The first time I saw a NCL ship I thought the painted hull looked kind of tacky, but over time I guess it grew on me. I like the painted hull with the Sea Witch logo on the Majestic. Remember true beauty lines within.

iIMO the newer Princess biggies (Royal, Regal) do offer a lot more without crowded passenger areas or restricted movement - just more good stuff. But despite ship size - a clean ship's hull looks classy. Majestic - not so much.
