Port Everglades Freedom terminal ?

Recommended Posts

Thanks. Leaving Saturday, Nov 12. We'll check back as you suggested. I guess it will be the same parking garage either way.

No, terminal 18 has a different parking area than 24/25. You would use the Midport Garage for 24/25.

Thanks for the link. Been looking around as Mar. 2017 will be our 1st. cruise.

Also looking for hotels for night before as driving from Toronto, Ontario but not too expensive.

Welcome to CC. Look for info on either the East Coast departures thread or the roll call thread for your sailing.

If you are looking for hotels in the Port Everglades area, check out the Florida Departures forum here:

We leave from Port Everglades in November on the Freedom. Does someone know which terminal it will leave from. Trying to figure out which parking garage we will use. Thanks

Hi... Freedom of the Seas will be berthed at Terminal 29.

Best option for parking is park n go (outside the port) and inside you'll have to use mid-port garage.

If she is leaving on other than Saturday or Sunday, she will likely use terminal 18.

Otherwise it could be 24/25 or 29.

About a week before the cruise you can consult this link to see the assigned terminal:

Been out of Port Everglades numerous times, but never pay attention to terminal numbers.

Is 18 the smaller one that is all the way to the back?? Did that one once on the Liberty and it took forever to get there. Traffic was so backed up. Partly our fault as we waited till 1:00 (never again)

On the same cruise as the OP, so it will be a Saturday leaving and a Sunday coming home. Guess the bigger ships get the nicer terminals.

Is is terminal 18 that also gets so backed up with customs when leaving the ship??

No, terminal 18 is the largest terminal, and the only one used by Oasis class. You may be thinking of 24/25, which shares a road with several other terminals and does get jammed at times.

Thanks Bob, I did notice that Harmony leaves the same day we do.

Does she need the big terminal??

Yes, Harmony will need terminal 18, so other RC ships will likely be using 24/25 or 29.
