Hi, we're doing the Summit next month and were wondering about using the Rooftop Terrace for our cc Meet and Greet at sailaway...

Is this a good location? And, do they serve drinks there or is there a bar relatively close?

Asking the experts!!!!;)

We were on the Millie last month and the terrace did not seem to have great views because of the cabanas across the back of the area. We used the Sunset Bar at the back of the ship. It is pretty much our favorite place for sailaway now. Oh, no clue about bar service on the terrace, it was pretty cool and drizzling when we sailed so people looked more for sheltered areas.

Have bot been on Summit since they added the terrace, but the Oceanview bar aft on deck 10 is a great place for meeting up for sailaway.

This is the usual place to hold a meet and greet at sailaway, great views and drinks available.

There is no bar service for the Terrace - have to walk down the narrow staircase to the Sunset Bar two decks below. Handicap access to the area is via a small outside "elevator" and I believe you have to arrange in advance for staff to assist with the operation.

By the way - Sunset Bar and Oceanview Bar seem to be interchangeable. The dailies from our May sailing called it the Sunset Bar. The Summit deck plan on the Celebrity website shows the name as Oceanview Bar - of course those same deck plans do not indicate the Rooftop Terrace has been added to Deck 12. (But they do show the new Tuscan Grille on Deck 3.)

Have a great cruise.
