Cabin refrigerators

I read somewhere that you can ask for the refrigerator in you room to be emptied so we can put our own drinks in there. We are cruising on carnival magic and wondered how we go about having this done.

It should be empty but if it isn't you can empty it yourself to save your steward time. Then just put the stuff back the last day.

No problem with doing that.

John Heald announced a little while ago that they were doing away with sticking the mini fridges, song they are now all empty. Guess it was too much work for the stewards to keep having to empty them so they figured just empty them all and keep them empty.

On our June 1 cruise on the Legend to Alaska our refrigerator had stuff to purchase, which we did and were charged for. There was plenty of room for our personal stuff. Seemed like a good combination. We were in a suite.

Open refrigerator door, put bottles on counter, put your stuff in it, close door.;)

I hope this empty mini bar goes fleet wide soon. I always thought the stuff in there would be pretty old, very few people ever bought anything out of there. If I remember correctly, you can ask them to add specific items to your mini bar, but you will be charged for them.
