Premium drink package

Can anyone tell me if we can use the ultimate drink package in the ice bar and Margaritaville on the Escape. Thanks.

and it can be used in all bars on NCL with the exception of the Ice Bar, which has a $20 cover that includes 2 drinks. Everywhere else is good. The ice bar you are really paying more for the experience I think, rather than the drinks.

Thank u again. They have something on their web page which states it can be used in every bar and restaurant on the ship so that is quite misleading. Other than that how did u find the ship? It looks amazing.

We did it last year on the Getaway. It was fine as a one time thing. The drinks they served us in there were terrible though. We were in there 10 minutes tops. As stated there is no Ice bar on the Escape however.

You're right, if you're referring to the terms and conditions of the UBP on the NCL US site. However, those terms are strictly speaking only for people who purchase the package themselves. If you have received the UBP as a booking perk (either in the US or in the UK), you will find that the Ice Bars are explicitly excluded.

 

(Just to be clear, I am not saying that there is actually any difference between the purchased and the promotional UBP in this respect, just that the terms are more clearly written for the promo. No one can use the UBP at the Ice Bar.)

Doesn't make that much difference that the Ice Bar is excluded there isn't one on the escape anyway:p:p

 

The UBP is well worth the price even if you want to super premium drinks the first $15 of those drinks are taken off the price so you only pay the difference

 

If you get it free at time of booking well thats a bonus :)

Think of the ice bar is more of an attraction than a bar. You are paying for entry, and entry includes 2 drink tickets and whether you want those drinks or not (child, pregnant, non-drinker), you still have to pay for admission to the attraction.

NCL's definitions of 'free', 'premier' and 'ultimate' are a little different from the rest of the world's definitions of those simple words - just saying...:rolleyes:

Not true, it was not usable at Qsine which had a specialty cocktail menu. It was also not usable on the ergonomic wine machines that were in Cellarmasters. It was also not usable at the molecular bar when that still was around......

Don't know about the wine machines in Cellarmasters but I deffo used the premier drink package last year in the Molecular bar on the Solstice and the year before on the Sillhouette. Fab cocktails they were too!

Forgot to say we also used it in Quasar, although not sure if that is a different bar from the one you mentioned as Qsine. Had some great wee nights in there.

Why are you asking if it can be used in the Ice Bar on the Escape? There is NO Ice Bar on the Escape.
