Another great deal for a solo cruise on NCL. I just booked. You need to go all the way into the booking and look into the inside category to see the actual price. $899 + $369 taxes = $1267 inside 19day Sept 17-Oct 6. Vancouver to Tokyo.

Well, this is awesome. I was waiting around but the rate did not go down. I did this cruise from Copenhagen last year and wanted to do it again. Now I am doing Queen Mary2 and Elizabeth in October instead. No discount. Oh well, next year I will play a better game of chicken. Lol

Why is the price $482? Shouldn’t you have received $250 off for your certificate? Also the lowest price listed at NCL website for that cruise is $1105.63!

I believe the poster might have been referring to your actual out of pocket savings as you pay $125 for every $250 certificate.

 

You are right though, when using a certificate on a booking, $250 is taken off the bottom line.

U pay 250 for 2 cruise next certificates on board.

Since The Cruise next certificate costs 125 and gives you a reduction of 250 the discount works out to 125 for each certificate

For the Norwegian star departing 5th November 2018, the price on my OTA website is 496 + 107.63 taxes per person for an inside cabin.

You can get a further reduction of 250 by applying a cruise next certificate.

What is OTA? As you can see from my screenshot the pricing you describe is not available at NCL.com.

Where are you seeing that price? Only with a double occupancy room or were you seeing it when plugging in information as a solo passenger? If that is the price you’re seeing for solo passenger then I would love to know where you’re seeing it because Norwegian Cruise line is charging double that! Earlier I assumed you were giving solo pricing because the name of this thread is Solo bargains!

Acronyms are a pain, but if you digest the information, it is an offer from an online travel agent. Sometimes they get blocks of rooms for lower than published prices. Add the credit and the price is reduced.

I will admit, I am not fond of postings here that are low prices due to an individual's bonuses, credits, or insider deals. It would be more across the board helpful to post sales that everyone can participate in.

In this case, however, you can plug in dates and prices into google and see if you can find the particular OTA...or pay the NCL price.

Jan 2019..would keep an eye on these. I imagine there will be some better rates in the coming months.
