As for the comment about uneaten food being waste...hate to tell ya, but ALL food becomes *waste*. Eaten or uneaten, it becomes waste of some sort. Might as well honor the food by enjoying it, and honor yourself by NOT eating it if you don't.

The only thing I can add to this conversation is to take a queue from your waitstaff. We've asked questions about certain diishes and appeared undecided and our waiter brought both. On the other hand, our wait staff on Jewel in 2014 had a difficult time just getting one complete service to our table and getting us out before 11.
