No Specialty Restaurants over the Holidays?

Sailing Liberty of the Seas on Dec 18. RCI customer service tells me Chops closed for the ENTIRE cruise! I can almost understand closing Xmas and Xmas eve but the entire 8 day cruise? Have you heard anything about this?

This is not true I have booked Chops for this sailing, I did book a few weeks ago.

Just looked at Cruise planner, the 24th and 25th the italian on LOS $75.00

No wine included, just a glass of Champagne.

I expected them to raise the prices but I certainly didn't forsee them more than doubling the price.:eek:

I too am seeing $85 for ''150 Central: A Culinary Celebration''

and

$75 for ''Giovanni's Table: A Culinary Celebration''

Allure on dates 24th 25th 31st Dec and 1st of Jan.

 

Limited availability (one night at 9.30pm) for Chops at normal price

and Sabor, Izumi and Samba grill have decent availability at normal charges.

 

I personally will be avoiding the above four dates as I don't wish to pay double the normal upcharge. The glass of champagne has no value to me with the drinks package.
