Thechamp555 Posted September 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) We are a couple early 50's and are anticipating to sail on the Navigator early 2018 (9 nights Souther Carribean- Feb 2nd) I sailed 3 times with Celebrity. What should I expect in terms of typical client's age between the 2 compagnies ? Does the Navigator attracts a lot more families with teenagers ? cincicruisers Posted September 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2016 We sailed late February early March. There did not seem to be many kids/teenagers. We commented to each other that there did not seem like there were many onboard.
Clarea Posted September 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2016 The time of year is an important factor in the demographic. "Early 2018" might mean March, in which case there will be many college age guests. If it's around Easter, then more younger families will be on board. If it's the second week of January, it will be an older demographic than in March.

Coralc Posted September 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2016 We're on the 9 night Feb. 3 2017 and we are late 50's which seems around average on the roll call. Hardly anyone has mentioned bringing children. Someone might have mentioned grandchildren.
ColoradoGurl Posted September 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) There will likely be lots of people in the 50's age range, whether there's kids or not. Adults wise, the main age range seems to fall between 40-60. Surprisingly (or maybe not?), most of my daughters young teenage friend's parents are in their 50's, since people around these parts seem to wait quite a while before starting their families, so I wouldn't be surprised to find 50's aged people with and without kids on board, but 50's-ish either way. easyboy Posted September 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 15, 2016 If school is in session on your Feb cruise, less likely for families with children.

Thorben-Hendrik Posted September 15, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) Does the Navigator attracts a lot more families with teenagers ? Thanks Thechamp555 YES! Flowrider, Rock-climbing, water-park.... Navigator is marketed around the world...so there is always a spring break - Brazil, EL Salvador, Europe.... There will be significantly more kids on Navigator than on Celebrity! Edited September 15, 2016 by germanfflyer
