Uber vs Cab in Boston

We will be in Boston Tuesday 9/20 and plan to walk Freedom Trail. Would it be better get to Boston Common and back from Bunker Hill using a Cab, Uber, or?

What does "better" mean?

 

There are safety questions, speed issues, cost issues, convenience issues, etc.

 

Both will get you there.

From Bunker Hill, walk to the Community College and take the T. Orange Line to Downtown Crossing, follow path to Green Line and exit at Park Street.

If you don't mind being picked up in what would compare to a friend's car, Uber X is a very economical choice. We use it often for our weekend jaunts across the city.

I'd say Uber, if that's an option you're comfortable with.

 

I'd also recommend doing the Freedom Trail backwards - I personally find it much easier to do all the steps to the top of the Bunker Hill Monument when my feet and legs are fresh, rather than after a day of walking. Of course, if you don't plan on going to the top of the Monument, feel free to disregard!

Thanks for the input ended up taking the ships shuttle $16pp. I didn't know that it was going to be available had a great time walking the trail.
