HI all , can see Pacific Jewel off Korora Bay ,north of Coffs Harbour ,must be doin a costa :D Hope she miss all Solotary Islands :eek:

Yes there was a medical evacuation - perhaps they also took the opportunity to check out our Harbour as a Port of Call in the future! [emoji3]

That would make it 3 from 3 I think, we had a heli evac on our cruise on the Jewel and the next cruise also had one and now this cruise.

On our cruise it was to evac 2 young children with pneumonia.

Yes, seems to be a regular occurrence but it is certainly better than the alternative.

...and on 12/9 the heli-evacuation from off of Willis Island was for a heart attack patient. On that cruise (J635) the Jewel also turned back to Brisbane on its northward passage to evacuate a crew member with suspected appendicitis.

She seems to be making a record for evacuations just lately.
