A Different Check-In Time Question

Hi there.

Have any Diamonds/Platinums arrived at port earlier than the earliest check-in time available?

We have always arrived at the home ports around 9:00 AM. (I'd much rather wait at the port than in a hotel room.) We checked in, received our S&S cards, and made friends with the port employees. We are soon taking our first cruise with the check-in process and have chosen 10:00 to 10:30. As Platinum, we'd like to arrive at our usual early time and start the process as usual. Have any Diamonds or Platinums done this successfully?

Thank you.

Have a great day.

It is my understanding that they won't let anyone in the terminal before the earliest check in time. So if 10:00 AM is the earliest for that sailing, then you will need to get there no sooner than 10:00 AM or you will be waiting outside. I haven't experienced this for myself, and I am only going by what others have posted.
