How do you look into booking things like that?

My travel agent says documents will be ready 2-3 weeks before departure.

I have my booking number and can order drinks packages and excursions. Is there a way to see on board itinaries etc?

This is my first cruise, still learning. haha

Yes the clubs will be open their normal hours after dinner. The surcharge starts at like 9 or 10 pm.

Amanda: no there is no real way to see on board activities up front. You can ask about copies of Compasses to be linked showing past schedules based on the ship and specific itinerary, but you can't count on things being exactly the same.

The cruise line does not publish the Cruise Compass (on board schedule). You would have to find a recent review of the same ship on the same itienrary.

Your cruise documents should be ready around 7 weeks before the cruise.

Example Cruise Compass, if you'd like.

We booked the dinner theater online, it was in the activities section.

The dinner theater starts at 630, I think. If the club wasn't open, what would my options be? Ds will only be 9, so not old enough to be alone, especially on the first night

From my experience the kids club has never been open the first night during dinner hours.

If not open its either in room babysitting or cancel your plans. There is a family thread you can post on. Give details on ship and date. There's usually the kids cruise compass you can view as well.

I just googled Adventure Ocean compass liberty of the sea day 1. Adventure Ocean is only open for registration on day 1 which has always been my experience on all the cruises/ships I've been on.

I emailed RCI, and was told it would be open from 7-9.... Wont help us, but maybe it will help someone else :)

I guess DS is coming to the dinner theater

If it's actually open that night - they might pick up at the dining room at 6:40pm. So maybe you might be able to meet your mom at the mystery dinner at 6:45 if you have all of his paperwork ready?!
