you can request a price drop anytime when you see it up until final payment (and up until 48 hours before cruising if you have early saver). But you will have to pay the full deposit immediately

You will have to pay the full deposit only if:

 

1) You have paid less than full deposit on the booking. Example: I did a price claim on a sailing in which was $49/deposit. I had already paid off over $500 so I didn't have to pay any more.

 

2) The rate you switch to is not a reduced deposit rate. Example: If the rate changes while on a reduced deposit, you'd be required to pay up to that amount.

also please keep in mind if you book reduced deposit and find that there is a price drop for your cabin, you can get the lower price but you will have to immediately pay the full deposit or they will cancel your reservation.
