Where do you get the information on Repositioning cruises?

Hope this helps. Viking does not mark them as re-positioning cruises per se, so you have to read between the lines when you read the details of the various cruises. The first clue is usually the names of the starting and ending ports; Bergen to Montreal or Bergen to Barcelona or San Juan to Barcelona are probably re-positioning cruises because they start and end in different geographic areas. Re-positioning cruises also only have one sail date (or two sail dates that are months apart, one in each direction). Yes, there are some itineraries that have only one sail date but they aren't re-positioning cruises because either they return to the same port they started in or they are staying in the same area.

Currently on the web site, there are two repositioning cruises that are transatlantic crossings.

One is called in the Wake of the Viking; from Bergen to Montreal.

The Viking Star is the doing this first maiden voyage to North America currently.

Next year there will be two ships doing this in the fall of the 2017

The other is called West Indies to Iberia: Puerto Rico to Barcelona.

First one is Feb of 2017, on the Viking Star.

In 2018, there will be two sailings from West to East: one in March and one in April.

We have booked the Viking Sky for April 2018. This ship is still being built, sail out in Feb of 2017.

The Viking Sun will be built and ready to sail in 2018. This ship will be doing a world cruise its first year according tot he inforamtion I have received from Viking Ocean.
