Rare Scrapnana Posted September 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2016 I seriously doubt it. I found on the 2014 World Voyage there were not as many sail-away parties as I was expecting.
Tangoqueen Posted September 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2016 As much as I love Cunard, sail away parties are not their strong point. I also doubt there'd be anything planned for a late sail away. Sent from my iPad using Forums

NSWP Posted October 1, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2016 Love the 'Great Briitsh Sailaway' on P&O UK ships. On our first Cunard cruise on March 2, QM2 - Sydney-HK. Do Cunard have anything remotely similar to P&O UK's sailaways?
Alibobs Posted October 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2016 I am one of those people who is quite cynical about things and not easily impressed........but one of the nicest memories I have is the QM2 sailing away from Hamburg on a Cunard flag day........ Tens of thousands of people come and wave at you ........hundreds of boats on the water too.......we were on our balcony for almost an hour waving to people...".it really was one of those 'did it really happen' events. There is footage on you tube which shows some scale of the turnout. It really is an event

Do Cunard have anything remotely similar to P&O UK's sailaways? Cunard's sailaways are not quite like P & O. They are more sedate.
