Your time dining for 10

I have learned with YTD the earlier you go the more consistent your experience will be (same waiter/waitress, same table). The later you go the more problems occur because it gets busy... I TIP the host the first night so they remember you. Enjoy! :)

We were on the Conquest last week and had a group of 8. I agree with the previous poster. Going earlier is better. We tried to get there between 6 and 6:30 and on those nights had no wait whatsoever and chose our waiter. The one night we waited until 7:00 to go they told us we would have a 45-60 minute wait. We didn't feel like waiting so ate at the lido buffet that night.

i will completely agree with KCPumpkin, from my experience with any group larger than 6-8 we always had to go to a pretty early dinner to avoid a pretty significant wait(hour or more) some of the guest didn't mind as we just waited at a close bar and had a few drinks waiting to be seated. For non drinkers, i would 100% recommend eating before 6 to help with the wait. Hope this helps

The wait is longer for a large group and ATD. Did ATD and we had a group of 12. The group only went 3 nights of a five nighter. First night 1 hour wait, formal night 2 hours, last night 1 1/2 hour.

What time did you go to dinner?

We had a party of 8 with anytime dining and it was less than ideal. After two nights of long waits (unless, of course, we went at 5:00 p.m.), we made reservations so that we didn't have such a wait any longer.

Sorry, but you didn't make reservations for ATD on Carnival. Maybe on another cruise line, but you can't reserve a specific time for ATD on Carnival.
