White dress party on Majesty?

Can anyone who has recently done a 3 day cruise on Majesty confirm whether or not a white dress party (where cruisers are encouraged to wear white) was scheduled? I've searched on this forum and there are conflicting comments about this. Would like to know if I should pack something for this (which would mean buying something....).

They were doing it 2 yrs ago but I don't know right now. I was reading to a compass from another ship and I see they call it "white night pool party" so I guess they will make one on your ship as well.

You know, you don't HAVE to wear white to attend!

I wouldn't buy something special just to wear for an hour or so out on the pool deck...surely you have a white shirt or white shorts? Even if not, you can still go...there will be a lot of people NOT in white...

Was on a 4 day cruise on the Majesty recently and there was no white party... and we all brought white... LOL!!

We were on the 3 night last week. It was announced as such, however only a handful of people wore all white. Started raining so party was moved from pool deck to spectrum. Dance floor was pretty full. Lots of fun!!

And yes.. we brought our white!!:D
