Newbie to Cruises - Crystal or bust...

Hi Everyone,

Totally new to cruising although it's been a lifelong ambition to go on one.

Am single and have decided to book a Crystal cruise for next year - i'm not too fussed about where i go, just want to relax on the ship, read a couple of good books, dine on tasty food and wine and take in the views. If i can find a last minute deal, so much the better!

I've seen a really good offer on Crystal Serenity - a cabin with a balcony for a tenth of the price of the rest of the cabins.

My question is: There has to be a catch, right?...

Did you actually click through the offer to see if the rate on the splash page is for real or a typo that omitted a digit from the price which is what I strongly suspect.

(Welcome to Cruise Critic--and I hope this reaches you before this thread is deleted as it is against board rules to name specific travel agents)
