Allure specialities - booking at boarding time

We are sailing Allure over Christmas and New Year and quite a lot of the specialities are already full. I am presuming they will hold some spots back for booking once onboard.

 

Where do you actually go to book these - do you have to go to each individual restaurant or is there a central place? Can you book all the restaurants at the one place?

 

Also, what about the MDR assignments - does the Maitre'D still hold court in the MDR when you board to sort out any issues and table placements?

With regard to the MDR, there will be a crewmember at the entrance to the dining room to handle changes.

There have been quite a few posts about not being able to book the specialty restaurants for Christmas Eve/Day and New Years. They should be available to book on board although do not be surprised if they ore offered at a higher price than usual due to the holidays. You can book all your different restaurants at one place.
