Another Drink Package question. Sorry

We are first time RCCL cruisers but have 8 months on other lines. Going to buy the beverage package and have a couple questions.

1) can you enjoy a beverage while the ship is in port

2) are the included beverages available in the theatre, dining room and specialty dining.

Thanks.

You can use your beverage package at any location on the ship. Package also works on RC private locations, such as Labadee. When the ship is docked you can use at any location on the ship. Operating hours of bars/food locations are listed in the daily Compass. Compass is left in your stateroom each night like a newspaper with the activities for the following day.

You can order drinks in any venue on the ship. It's possible that certain locations may be out of a particular liquor or not stock a particular beer but can usually manage to track it down. Aside from that there shouldn't be any issues.

As others have said, any bar onboard open while in port will serve you no issues. Labadee and Coco Cay allow you to use the package, just be advised if you get the drinks in the souvenir glasses there you'll be charged for the cup.

W really like the package , had it on last 4 cruises. only restriction is drinks above 12 dollars, many of the wine by glass we like are now up to 14 or 15 dollars so we pay the extra 2 or 3 dollars plus 18 percent tip on that 2 or 3 dollars. All the 12 year scotch is included , some of the other higher end will be more money

Seemed to be the right deal for my wife and I so we purchased it. It will be nice to have what you want wherever. I think we will spend more time in the bars and zero time in the casino and be way ahead. LOL.
