Happy Monday, all!!!:D:D

We purchased Cheers for our June 2017 sailing on the Magic.

First cruise for us with an Alchemy Bar.:D:D

Does the Martini Tasting count towards Cheers, or how does that work?

I believe there are like 8 different ones in the tasting.

Also, along the same lines, the 101oz tube of Thirsty Frog Red.....

Just wondering how these two work with the program.

Thanks!!!

Any singular alcoholic beverage (drink) purchased counts against the plan. Since the Martini tasting is in flights of drinks, from my understanding, it is not covered by Cheers at all.

I'm fairly sure the 101oz beer isn't covered either.

The martini sampling is offered the first night to introduce folks to what the Alchemy Bar can offer them.

You can certainly buy martinis on the other nights but I don't know if they have the same tasting deal on the other nights of the cruise. I have never tried to get it any other time.

Thanks, Riffatsea!!! We booked the steakhouse for the first night.....

May have to rethink that......

I don't want to miss it.:D:D

I will check it out when get on the ship...

Probably depends on the bartender and ship. (We all know how consistent Carnival is:rolleyes:) We were told it could be done any night of the cruise.

We took a martini making class at the Alchemy, that was a blast.

I've done the martini tasting on a couple voyages. With the Cheers program, you get a discount toward the tasting but the entire cost is not covered in Cheers.

Most cruises offer more than one night of tasting.

Enjoy... it's fun.

The first night is the only night you get a bottle of house wine free at the Steakhouse. Don't know if that matters or not though.
