Rare Crazy For Cats Posted November 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Can anyone tell me the prices of current internet packages on the Konigsdam? (sp?) Looking for a daily price, or 10 or 9 day package. We are doing a 19 day in December 2016. Just left the Koningsdam. The internet pricing is the usual pricing, 100 minutes for $55. I don't remember the price for a larger block of time. I stayed off line. Sent from my iPad using Forums
boze9999 Posted November 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2016 (edited) Considering today's travelers, expectations and needs for connectivity (particularly business) while they travel, HAL's internet is ridiculously expensive. When charged by the minute and dependent on mediocre ship speed and satellite connections/weather, etc, Hal guests will experience nothing but frustration and dissatisfaction with HAL. Believe me I know - I am 5 star, self employed and require connectivity while traveling. The line has experimented with unlimited options (any of which are better than no unlimited options), however I have been told by ship personnel that on January 1st HAL is going fleet wide back to its archaic and expensive pay by the minute plans. If your ability to travel and remain connected is important, everyone needs to email HAL customer service and let them know this is 2016 - almost 2017 and with all other cruise lines offering affordable internet options, HAL needs to offer the same services and benefits. Ah, no, they don't. Not sure why you might feel you are owed high speed Internet access. If HAL wishes to offer that, fine. But owed to you, definitely not.
