Rare luvtoride Posted November 22, 2016 #76 Share Posted November 22, 2016 This is the Eastern version of the Showtimes at a Glance: They should have these available Day 1 - Thanks!!! The Fine Line Aqua show is NOT to be missed! It was amazing! I would have easily paid a full performance Cirque de Soleil ticket price for the great seats we had for that show. StlGal Posted November 22, 2016 Author #77 Share Posted November 22, 2016 Unfortunately we have missed The Fine Line performances. We saw part of the show from our table at Wonderland that overlooked aqua theatre. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

StlGal Posted November 22, 2016 Author #80 Share Posted November 22, 2016 After convincing DH to dine at Wonderland... there was some arm twisting. We had dinner last night at Wonderland and DH agreed that it was one of the best meals and service that we have ever had. StlGal Posted November 22, 2016 Author #81 Share Posted November 22, 2016 On the jogging (or walking in my case) track this morning I found a few unique things. A quiet little sitting/lounging area. There are two of them (one on each side of the ship). Cute little inspirational signs. And just in case you've ever wondered... StlGal Posted November 22, 2016 Author #82 Share Posted November 22, 2016 We went on The Abyss this morning. No waiting... walked right on. It is definitely the fastest way to get down 10 floors!!! Wow!!! And I still think that the Harry Potter effect is still hanging on. *ugh*. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
TheMillenniumRider Posted November 22, 2016 #83 Share Posted November 22, 2016 Looks awesome!! Hope you are enjoying everything! Question: Sailing on Harmony on 1/28/17. Have restaurant bookings for 4 of the 7 nights. Any chance on getting the MDR menus posted to see which nights are best for eating there?

We actually gave it up several years ago. So no promises as I don't even think we have walked in that general direction. Have restaurant bookings for 4 of the 7 nights. Any chance on getting the MDR menus posted to see which nights are best for eating there? We just got off the Harmony last Saturday. We were with a large group, and had MDR reservations as a group every night. I'd say you can safely skip the MDR. No one in our very large group was impressed. We took 3 nights off. Our dinner at Jamie's was our favorite. We had a free dinner at 100 Central Park, and it had good and less good choices. We enjoyed the sushi at Izumi one night. And some evenings after the MDR disappointed us we headed to the Windjammer and found some much better food.

sdpete Posted November 23, 2016 #88 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Did you go the the 90's party in the Promenade? If so, how is it different than the 70's Disco Inferno parties on other RCCL ships?

Well let me ask this then, I have booked a night at Jaimes, Chops, Wonderland, and Central Park. Is Izumi worth trying as well? How does it work there, I pay the fee and then most stuff is included, but not everything? Any other spots recommended? Though I think I covered all the bases already. Which places would you recommend repeats? Edited November 23, 2016 by TheMillenniumRider
Rare crewsweeper Posted November 23, 2016 #90 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Thanks for taking time out of your wonderful cruise to keep us up to date! Can you answer a question I asked on a prior HOS review? Is there a lap pool like on the Oasis? And do you have pictures of the gym, specifically a rowing machine if they have one? Thank you. waiting to see the rest of your cruise!

Which places would you recommend repeats? We have eaten both lunch and dinner at Jaimes's and enjoyed both very much. We have Chops booked tonight and honestly don't have high expectations because every time we have gone the quality and service have gone down. I will report back tomorrow. Wonderland was amazing. It's a must do!!! We are going to Izumi today for lunch and will take pictures of the menu to post. It is ala Carter and DELICIOUS if you are a sushi fan. We did Izumi hibachi the first night and it was terrific!! Again, a must do! CO Cafe is yummy for lunch - roast beef sandwiches, made to order salads, panini sandwiches and to go sandwiches and chips. They also have breakfast items in the morning. Thank you. waiting to see the rest of your cruise! I have noticed that people are using the Sports Pool as the lap pool. I have noticed several people doing laps every morning. I will attempt to get to the gym and take pictures. Typically I am allergic to gyms. [emoji15] especially on cruises. I have been walking in the mornings on the outside walking/running track which has an entrance to the Fitness Center. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll jump off the track and take pictures. Stay tuned. StlGal Posted November 23, 2016 Author #96 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Okay so I know the rules of food porn are "Thou shalt not post food pictures that have been eaten". I am going to break the food porn rule and ask for forgiveness later because it was so yummy that we just couldn't resist. Another do not miss is the guacamole and chips at Sabor. Yummmm! Felt funny taking pictures inside while people were working out. It is big and spacious with lots of cardio equipment but not as much weight equipment. Also the Vitality Cafe inside there is great for all types of fresh squeezed juices, which are included in the premium beverage package. 39august Posted November 23, 2016 #100 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Thanks for pics of the gym. I noticed that on sea days there are classes on the hour from 7 to 10AM. Is there any room away from those classes where I can do my own boot camp workout? Looks like there may be some space behind the bikes in the spin area. I saw a lot of people, besides me, on Liberty and Serenade doing their own workout on my last several cruises, so I hope there is enough open space to accommodate us! That Serenade gym is sooo small that space was definitely a problem.
