dandee2 Posted November 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Good morning, We are considering a Tahiti cruise for July 2017. We will be in Moorea a few days before the cruise (visiting friends). Our plan to return to Papetee was to leave Moorea via ferry in the morning and get on board Wind Spirit late afternoon in Papetee. Now this. Our travel agent is saying that we should be going back to Papetee the day before because if the weather is not cooperative (too windy/waves, etc), the ferries might be cancelled for the day and we might miss the ship in Papetee. This is something we haven't thought of. Comments? dandee2

BayAreaBC Posted November 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2016 The first port Windstar stops is Moorea. In the unlikely event that you can't make the ferry to Papeete you can almost certainly board in Cook's Bay on Moorea. Call Windstar directly your travel agent doesn't seem to be very well informed.
