Taxi suggestions - need to go to two places

We are going to be on the NCL Getway, docking (I think) in Punta Langosta. We plan to go to Paradise Beach, but on the way back, we would like to stop at a pharmacy which is located on Rafael Melgar between 6th and 8th Avenue, next to Guido's restaurant. Since the pharmacy appears to be a little further than the cruise terminal, how much extra will it cost to have the taxi take us to the pharmacy, wait 5 minutes for us, and then take us back to the cruise terminal?

Just curious-are you going to Discount Drugs and Souvenirs?

I don't know how much but I always negotiate the fare before I get in the cab. Even when it's established by signage. I wouldn't think it would amount to much extra.

Geez, that is practically walking distance. Why not take the taxi there, then walk back through town and shop or stop for drinks?

I agree with the above posters. Have the taxi drop you off, then stroll back toward the ship. It's really a very nice walk. Either stop for a drink, do a little shopping or just enjoy the oceanfront walk.
