Grand Princess: Bingo Pack Vs. Tablet?

Tell me why you choose one over the other?

 

We did the Packs but seemed like the tablets always won?

are these new? is it an auto dub? That might make the tablet win more... looks kind of small to manually dub... was on the Grand last year... did not have it then, going again this New Years.

I was on the Ruby in October and experienced the new Bingo tablet availability. I still got the paper cards. The tablets definitely won most of the games, but the problem I had was since those tablets require no attention on the part of the players, the Bingo caller simply called numbers with no interaction with the players. What fun is that!!?!??!

 

So, even though I have played Bingo on every cruise (30+) I've been on, sadly I've decided to forgo it from now on.

How much does a tablet pack cost? We have bingo halls here, and it's the same thing; most of the time, the wins are on the machines because they can play so many more cards at once. Do you at least get to hit a button on the tablet when a number is called? That's what you do here. It would be insanely boring to just stare at the screen and do nothing.

I hope they don't have these on the Coral! We always play every bingo session but I'm not sure I want to play without daubers!

Hmm following this, as I too am curious about the electronic ones. Seen them at home..does the card flash when it has a bingo on it or do you have to truly stare at the screen...curious as to how it works and costs?
