ATLfuzzy Posted December 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Greetings! Has anyone resided in Freedom of Seas/Junior Suite 1302 (deck 10); it has a decent center ship location, but is directly underneath sports pool. Any comments on this cabin, etc? Thanks for your input. Edited December 6, 2016 by ATLfuzzy
Clarea Posted December 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2016 Greetings! Has anyone resided in Freedom of Seas/Junior Suite 1302 (deck 10); it has a decent center ship location, but is directly underneath sports pool. Any comments on this cabin, etc? Thanks for your input. Haven't stayed there, but I'd prefer a JS on deck 9 that is not a connecting stateroom. There's more potential for noise from above on deck 10. cb at sea Posted December 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) We love the deck below the pool....have never had horrible noise issues...but there can be some chair scraping at times.....Nothing that ever bothered us. Shoot...you hear more noise from the hallways than from above! But I would rather not have a connecting cabin.... ATLfuzzy Posted December 6, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted December 6, 2016 thanks! I definitely refused connecting cabin; was curious about pool noise.
Clarea Posted December 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2016 thanks! I definitely refused connecting cabin; was curious about pool noise. Pool noise is unpredictable. Sometimes we've heard nothing at night. Other times we heard the crew chair throwing contest at 4am.
ATLfuzzy Posted December 7, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted December 7, 2016 switched to cabin on the 9th. Thanks for input!
Rala Posted December 9, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 9, 2016 Pool noise is unpredictable. Sometimes we've heard nothing at night. Other times we heard the crew chair throwing contest at 4am. Definitely agree with the above. Also, I don't know where cb's cabins are, but we have rarely if ever have heard noise from the hallway other than a few words of conversation from folks passing by. IMO hallway noise is a non-issue whereas noise from the pool deck can be an issue depending on your location. Good Luck! :)
