Restaurant near Miami Port

Hello NCLers! We are setting sail in Feb for a 3 day on the Sky. Flying in the morning of the cruise and wanting to meet an old friend for lunch before we board. Looking for recommendations/suggestions for a nice place for lunch near the Port OR on the way to the port from the Miami airport.

 

We are quite excited for our Adult only getaway in the warm weather.

Google Bayside Marketplace....in view of the port...many restaurants!

The Intercontinental Hotel has a very nice restaurant on the water called Oceanwater. Very good food and service and not formal at all. We really liked it. You can see the ships while you eat.

Being from Miami I would choose the Intercontinental over Bayside. If you want to try to impress your friend I would would go to Joe's Stone Crab on South Beach. It would be a short cab/uber from PortMiami across the McCarthur Causeway.
