Ideas what to do when we get off ship at the end of cruise?

We will be on the Adventure in January. We are staying 2 days in San Juan after cruise. We need ideas for things to do from when we get off ship until we can check into our hotel at 3pm.

Which hotel? Depending on location, you might be able to go to the hotel, have them hold your bags, and then either use the hotels facilities, or expire for a few hours.

We've had success getting our room early in San Juan after departing the ship. Also, they will store your luggage and you can use the pool and facilities until your room is ready.

You can tour then be dropped of at your hotel, since you thin it is 3pm tour to the rainforest and save on the taxi to the hotel.

 

If that is not an option, go right to your hotel and check in if the room is available, most of the times it will be. If its not keep your bathing suites handy change and go to the beach!

If the hotel is a heavy cruise passenger hotel, the chances of getting an early check-in may be slim-to-none. All those cruisers will check out, so all those rooms need to be cleaned. But, I'd still go right to the hotel and check - you may be the lucky one whose room is ready. Otherwise, they will be happy to store your bags so you can go have lunch, wander, go to the beach...
