KPfromCT Posted December 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Happy Saturday, ALL!:D:D How old do you have to be to gamble in the casinos? Is it 18 or 21? I know here in CT, it's 21, but wasn't sure if the ships were different. Thanks!!:D

BigB0882 Posted December 10, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2016 The rule may be that you have to be 18 to even be in the casino but that is really not upheld. I have seen plenty of young teens playing those coin games where you drop the coins in and it pushes more out. Also, on some of the ships you basically have to walk through the casino to get to certain areas so how can you actually keep kids out?

Rare jimbo5544 Posted December 11, 2016 #9 Share Posted December 11, 2016 I noticed a six or so year old kid pulling the slot handle for his grandmother inhaling all that smoke  . LOL, probably a true statement. Living a small state with two large casinos, we are not bitten by the gambling bug, but on the infrequent occasion we are there and see the senior citizens puffing away and gambling their social security checks away, it is pretty sad (on both counts). Anyislandwilldo Posted December 11, 2016 #11 Share Posted December 11, 2016 On one of our cruises a woman had her young son, 3-4 yrs old climbing on the chair by the slot games. A casino worked came over and told her that children were not allowed in the casino. She left in a huff with her child. Why would you get mad when you are the one breaking the rules?
