S1 vs. S2 on M Class

Can anyone tell me the difference between the S1 and S2 cabins on the M class? I found a thread that talked a lot about the S class differences, but not the M. I know that 6145 is a desired cabin...but we'll be in 9111 on the Summit. It is a little bit down from the elevator so that should help with that source of noise but my bigger concern is that it's under the pool deck. That said, we were in a cabin under the buffet on both Eclipse and Equinox (S class, I know) and the noise never bothered us.

Anyone?

Only differences I have found between S1 & S2 is location or maybe with some cabins balcony size. Personally given a choice I would not book deck 9 on a M class. Some are probably fine but I would prefer deck 6 with cabins above us.

Thanks, and you're probably right about deck 9. Sadly, we didn't have a choice--it's what we could get. I'm hoping the pool deck isn't too busy at night and early morning...
