pso418 Posted December 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2016 This is the first time on NCL and usually sail RCCL. Does NCL have lobster at least once on a 7 day cruise? RCCL would always have it on formal night and my son loves lobster and would eat two. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Suenelsen Posted December 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2016 Lobster is not available any longer ... Blue Ocean may have it but it would be ala cart pricing Sent from my iPad using Forums
Mandy412 Posted December 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2016 I had it at Ocean Blue and there was no upcharge because I had the specialty dining package.

I usually pack a few Lobsters in dry ice to bring onboard. The chef gladly prepares them for MDR consumption. Very tasty ! JK

MikeBTN Posted December 16, 2016 #13 Share Posted December 16, 2016 The complementary RCCL lobster is garbage - its warm water lobster, small tails, chewy, etc. The upsell lobster on both RCCL and NCL is cold water lobster, much higher quality, and full lobster (not just the tail). It is now just a 12oz tail, quality/origin unspecified, for $24.99 (see the MDR menu posted above).

Two Wheels Only Posted December 16, 2016 #16 Share Posted December 16, 2016 They're all cold water lobster since they are all frozen in water until someone orders it. :p

Blue Ocean may have it but it would be ala cart pricing Sent from my iPad using Forums Actually, the dining venue is called 'Ocean Blue'! I enjoyed a (very) large lobster tail in Ocean Blue on my recent Caribbean Cruise on the BA! I didn't order an appetizer, but my (absolutely) excellent server, 'Ronald' brought me a 'complimentary' platter of King Crabs Legs! :) Edited December 16, 2016 by GeriatricNurse

Incorrect. The lobster on NCL are just tails. Small.
