Absolutely. There is no prohibition of battery operated fans. I always bring one with extra batteries.

I pack a 6" plastic, 110 volt, fan in our large suit case and have never been questioned about it.

I was curious about this too. Does it have to be battery operated? I have read mixed answers on power strips and plugging things in. Can we bring a power strip on board? What about a USB power strip to charge multiple phones/iPads? Thanks!!

Yes, as long as it has no surge protection.

Same here. I found one recently that clips on and has a base to set it on something.

I bring a small electric desktop fan....I need it all night, every night, and batteries will not last that long...and replacement batteries are to heavy to carry. I bring an extension cord, too, so I can get the fan to the bed!!!
