I think it is a good choice. It's near the aft elevators, which we like - down to the MDR, and up to the back area of the Ocean View café which avoids the crowds coming in the main entrance. Additionally, it has staterooms above and below and not a connecting cabin. I think you will be very happy with your selection.

No June from Bayonne to Bermuda. I won't fly to get to a port and I live in upstate NY

Have done Bermuda the last few years. Below is a link to a thread on the East Coast departures board for a thread called Cape Liberty 911. It has great info on the area, hotels, etc. There is a new terminal, new garage and loads of major construction going on in the area so this thread is very helpful.
