Well something originally drew you to the cruise that you booked. What made you change your mind? Why not give it a chance and find out for yourself? I have been on both Carnival and Celebrity. I like them both for different reasons and I can say that I have never had a bad cruise.

Well you have over a year for the cruise. What do you have booked for 2017? Since there is so much time left before you have final payment due and then the big penalties, just let this one sit on the books for now. You may change your mind again and that way you won't lose any money if you do decide to go.

I usually go down the night before, but other than that I don't really need to do a lot of exploring. If I'm going to fly to a cruise, it has to be at least a 6 nighter. Less than that and it's not worth it for me. By the time you unpack, it feels like the time flies too fast and then it's time to go. I have done 2 5 night cruises but that's when the ship was about 30 min from my house.
