The price of the cruise my wife and I have booked in 2018, dropped. Anyone able to tell me how to go about getting a refund for the price difference?

call whoever you booked with. If its a TA you have to call the TA, if it was directly through Carnival's website you can just call the customer service number. You shouldn't have any problem getting re-priced this far out.

I phone my TA and he deals with it. According to posts I have read so will your PVP if you booked that way.

 

If you booked yourself on-line there is an on-line form available but someone else will have to describe that process.

And keep checking the price after this adjustment. Our vista sailing went down a total of 8 times and our sunshine sailing went down 28% overall. Being booked that far out youll probably get a few more good reductions.

I booked through the cruise line and just called them today. 5 minutes and saved $150.

It looks like that form is specific to early saver bookings. All US bookings are entitled to price drops prior to final payment, regardless of booking type.
