OBC offers

Does Carnival ever have promotions where you get OBC when booking? I have been looking at all the lines and I just feel like they would truly be the best fit for us with all the food choices and the waterslides, etc. But, I can't get the free beverage package like with NCL and it has me looking at them too. lol. :p The Cheers program is $59 a day plus gratuity? At least it's $20 cheaper than NCL at $79 a day!

Sometimes they will run specials for certain levels also. When I booked the Vista when bookings opened, Plat/Diamond were offered $200 OBC per cabin if booked during the first week.

Also, if Cheers is ordered before you board, it comes to $57.44 per day per person including gratuity. If bought onboard, it is $5 more per day

Ooh, good to know! I thought you could only buy it onboard! I was surprised how pretty I find Pride. I need to find a port close enough to drive to from Cleveland and I really don't want to go past Orlando and would prefer an 8-10 hr drive so it limits us. :(

If you can make your own decisions about which cruise, when and where look into booking with Costco. They are the same price, and have the same offers as the Carnival site, but they shoot from $70 to several hundred back to you after the cruise in the form of a Costco cash card a few weeks after the cruise.

Does anyone else offer a better deal? I am all ears.

I am taking a Premier cruise next month in a junior suite, and will get $400 casino cash on board, and $190 Costco card back home. Takes the sting out of a $2300 fare.
